Soggy Waffles at Big Boulder

Going South to find the snow in late December? What has happened to white Christmases and sketchy drives to the mountain?

Myself and Mr. Arndt began the journey from Rochester on Monday night to pick up our dude Sam in Ithaca and then we started our treck down to the Sheetz residence in PA.

We got to Sheetz's house late that night to slumber for the night and to rest up for the adventures ahead. Edits were watched, the stoke-o-meter was rising, and we were amped to meet up with the Funtastik crew and go shred Big Boulder in the morning.


We woke up early Tuesday morning, dragging Sheetz out the door, excited to shred some gnar and hit some rails. We decided to stop at Wawa on the way to the mountain for some delicious breakfast sandwhiches and bevies.


Half way there it started to rain but we didn't care. Shredding in the rain is always way more fun than it sounds. We took some laps, hiked rails and got shots, and proceeded to be a giant mob of crazy snowboarder hooligans getting rad in the late December downpour.
Kyle even scored some candy from the crane game machine making the trip 100% awesome. Edit coming soon!

Its been a little while since Rails to Riches happened but check out George Watts edit of it if you havnt already... and if you did. watch it again!

bHappy at Boreal

If you havn't watched this edit yet, I strongly suggest you do so. Although the poll is closed for the Boreal Team Video Challange Semi-Finals, there is no reason not to watch this action packed, team snowboarding extravaganza. It is quite cool if I say so myself.

Sugarbush!

Sure, as soon as winter break comes and its time for all of us college kids to go home for the month, mother nature decided to drop a freshy layer of snow up yonder in Vermont. Sure im bummed to be missing out on this, as many of you probably are, but the park crew has also been hard at work setting up some new jibbers on Ellen.Im stoked to get back up there and check it out... but for now, here are some recent photos taken at Sugarbush.

24' drop down in the hike Park at Mt Ellen. They also added a 24' plumbers pipe rail, 24' Candygrind elbow, butter box and mini vert wall.

I cant wait until they set this thing up.The 22 foot Infinite down bar with a 2 foot dick looks like its going to be sick. Some rad manouvers are sure to be thrown on this doohicky.

We went up to Sugarbush on Saturday to catch the Peoples Jam and to take some laps. Sheetz got some nice shots of the maneuvers being thrown and is finishing up an edit as we speak. Then Mr. Watson took over and started snapping photos... here they are.
